Melanie Orhant

Melanie Orhant currently serves as the Career Development Manager for Patents and Innovations at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, a position held since January 2023. Previously, Melanie worked at The George Washington University Law School as a Senior Law Career Counselor and Bar Exam Advisor from April 2018 to January 2023. Melanie's extensive experience also includes roles such as Pro Bono & Volunteer Coordinator at the Network for Victim Recovery of DC, Director of Pro Bono Services at the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty, and Managing Attorney at Break the Chain Campaign, Institute for Policy Studies. Additionally, Melanie held positions as Director of the Trafficking Program at AYUDA Inc., student attorney at the Criminal Law Clinic, law clerk at the CAIR Coalition, and consultant at the Initiative Against Trafficking in Persons. Academically, Melanie holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, a Master's Degree in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University, and a BA in Government from Clark University.
