Michael Foley

Michael Foley has over 35 years of experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors, primarily in maintenance and fabrication roles. Since May 1996, Michael has served at Wilson Transformer Company, where the position of Maintenance Coordinator was attained in 2004, overseeing the reliable operation of plant and equipment, organizing maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with OHSE requirements. Previous roles include Team Leader in the welding department, managing a team of 25 boilermakers, and maintenance fitter/welder, all of which involved critical tasks related to quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Additionally, Michael's extensive background includes positions at various manufacturing firms, showcasing a strong foundation in welding, fabrication, and maintenance from the beginning of an apprenticeship in 1982 at Brownbuilt. Michael holds completion of year 11 from Saint Joseph's Technical College in South Melbourne.
