Melissa Baker has a well-rounded work experience in the library and art industry. Melissa began their career at Christie's as an Administrative Assistant in the Indian and Southeast Asian Art Department from 1999 to 2002. Melissa then transitioned to the library field, working as a Circulation Assistant at Darien Library from 2003 to 2005. Melissa's expertise led their to join Wilton Library Association, where they held various roles. Following that, Melissa pursued a Master's degree in Library Science from Pratt Institute between 2003 and 2005. Additionally, in 2002, they briefly attended the University of Virginia for Tibetan Studies, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree in this field.
