Dmitri Ponomarev

Dmitri Ponomarev has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dmitri currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Wilton Re, a position they assumed in July 2022. Prior to this role, they were Co-CEO for a year and Deputy CEO of Wilton Re US for a short period. Dmitri also held the role of Senior Vice President of Business Development and VP of New Business and Underwriting at Wilton Re. Before joining Wilton Re, they co-founded Main Street Board in 2015. Dmitri's earlier experience includes working at Goldman Sachs, where they held the positions of Vice President in Investment Banking and Associate in Credit Risk Management and Rating Advisory. Dmitri began their career as a Marketing Analyst at Ohio Savings Bank.

Dmitri Ponomarev obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from Cleveland State University between the years 1995 and 1999. Dmitri then pursued further education at NYU Stern School of Business, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from 2001 to 2003.
