Joan Stear

Joan Stear possesses extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) claims management, currently serving as the LTC Claims Leader at Wilton Re since January 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing LTC claim operations and implementing risk mitigation strategies. Prior to this role, Joan held the position of Director of LTC Insurance Operations at CNA Insurance, focusing on developing claims operations and quality assurance programs. Joan’s career began at Penn Treaty Network America Insurance, where as VP of Claim Operations, oversight encompassed various claim processes and the implementation of risk mitigation strategies. Joan holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
