Syed Ali Hasan

Syed Ali Hasan has held various roles throughout their work experience. Syed Ali began their career as an Analyst at Ernst & Young in 2009 before transitioning to become a Senior Actuarial Manager at EFU Life Assurance Ltd. in 2009. Syed Ali then served as the Secretary of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee and later became a Senior Actuarial Manager at the same company from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Syed worked as a Senior Associate at PwC US. Currently, they are employed at Wilton Re, where they started as a Corporate Actuary in 2017 and has now advanced to the position of Vice President - Corporate Actuary as of April 2022. Additionally, in 2011, they briefly served as a Mentor at The Citizens Foundation.

Syed Ali Hasan completed their Bachelor of Mathematics with Honours from the University of Waterloo, with a major in Actuarial Science and a minor in Finance from 2004 to 2008. Syed Ali obtained the title of Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) from the Society of Actuaries in December 2014. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) from the Society of Actuaries in August 2012.
