Iain Hatt is the current Principal & Chief Executive at Wiltshire College & University Centre. Iain has been in this position since August 2017 and oversees all aspects of the college. Prior to their current role, Iain was the Vice Principal Curriculum and Quality at Wiltshire College & University Centre from July 2014 to August 2017. Iain has also worked as the Head of Technology at South Devon College from April 2008 to December 2009 and Head of Automotive from February 2006 to April 2008. In addition, Iain has also worked as an Assistant Principal at Exeter College from January 2010 to July 2014, where they were responsible for various departments including apprenticeships, workplace learning and continued professional development, engineering, aerospace, automotive, construction, hairdressing, hospitality & beauty, Flybe partnership, Michael Caines academy.

Iain Hatt's educational career began at Dawlish School. Iain then attended Exeter College, where they completed an automotive engineering apprenticeship. After that, they studied automotive engineering technology/technician at The University of Bolton. Iain then obtained a certificate in management from Exeter College. Afterwards, they obtained a postgraduate certificate in education in the field of further education from Exeter University. Finally, they studied at Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, preparing for a career as a CEO.
