Riley Connell

Riley Connell is a multimedia journalist currently working at WILX-TV since January 2023. In addition, Riley serves as a freelance writer and photographer for Issue Media Group, producing content for web and social media platforms since February 2021. Prior to these roles, Riley was a staff writer/reporter for Cadillac News from June 2021 to March 2023 and completed a reporting internship at WCMU Public Media, generating stories for radio broadcast. Riley's experience also includes leadership positions at Grand Central Magazine, serving as Editor in Chief and Managing Editor, where editorial oversight and content creation were key responsibilities. Riley holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism from Central Michigan University, which was completed in 2021, and graduated from Lakeview High School in 2018.
