Yves Bernaerts

Yves Bernaerts is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Champalimaud Foundation since July 2023 and has been a Wim Hof Method level 1 instructor at Innerfire since October 2019, focusing on teaching breathing techniques, cold exposure, and mindset. Yves completed a PhD in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Tübingen, where involvement spanned from April 2018 to December 2023, and also served as a PhD student at the Center of Integrative Neuroscience during the same period. Prior academic experiences include a Master Thesis Student role at the Center of Integrative Neuroscience and a Master's degree in Biophysics from KU Leuven. Early career highlights involve project management and mechanics roles at ACD NV and job student positions at Clics Toys and Kolo nv, alongside an Erasmus exchange in Neural Science at the University of Tübingen.
