Hussain Kamal

Hussain Kamal currently serves as Associate Vice President and Studio Director at Wimberly Interiors, a design studio of WATG, since August 2016, where Hussain also holds the title of Associate Vice President and Creative Director. Prior to this, Hussain held the position of Senior Vice President and Managing Director at Wilson Associates from August 2004 to August 2016. Earlier experience includes working as a Project Designer at Hellmuth Obata + Kassabaum from 2000 to 2004, and as a Project Designer at Aguirre Corporation from 1998 to 2000. Hussain began the architectural career as an Intern Architect at Urban Design Group Inc from May 1995 to 1998, and completed an internship at Weeks Ambrose McDonald Architects in 1994. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Architecture/Urban Design from the University of Oklahoma (1995-1997) and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (1990-1995).
