Matilde Oliveira Andrade

Matilde Oliveira Andrade has extensive work experience in various industries. Matilde began their career as a Costumer Service representative at Festival FORTE in 2017 and continued in this role until 2019. During this time, they also worked as a Hostess at Coimbra Hospedeiras, where they hosted events for renowned brands and institutions.

In 2019, Matilde worked as a Receptionist at Hotel DOMUS for a short period. Matilde then transitioned to a role as an English Tutor, teaching language and culture to both children and a 12-year-old student to improve their fluency and knowledge.

In 2018, Matilde joined Banco Santander Totta as an Account Executive. Their responsibilities included promoting and opening bank accounts for international students and resolving ongoing issues. Matilde also provided new ideas to facilitate the adhesion process.

From 2020 to 2021, Matilde worked at Jotabap Lda as a Sales and Marketing Representative. Matilde was responsible for resolving pending incidents, evaluating credit applications, and increasing sales while optimizing administrative work.

Joining Made of You Group in 2019, Matilde worked in Customer Service until 2022. Their role involved interacting with customers and ensuring their satisfaction.

In 2022, Matilde took on a role as a Wine Tourism Coordinator at Wine Travel Awards. Matilde worked on digitalizing the community members for sustainability purposes, organizing events, and conducting PR campaigns for partners and sponsors.

From September to October 2022, Matilde worked as a Cellar Hand at Château la Fleur de Boçard. Their tasks included grape maturation control, corrections and pre-fermentation operations, as well as sorting, crushing, destemming, and pressing.

Currently, Matilde is working at Winalist as a Business Development professional, starting from March 2023.

Matilde Oliveira Andrade has a diverse educational background with an emphasis on wine tourism. Matilde completed a Master's degree in Wine Tourism at the Université de Bordeaux in the year 2022. Following that, they pursued another Master's degree in Wine Tourism Innovation at the Universidade do Porto from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, Matilde obtained an International Master's degree on Wine Tourism Innovation - Wintour from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili between 2021 and 2022.

In terms of undergraduate education, Matilde holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from Vysoká škola obchodní v Praze, which they obtained between 2019 and 2020. Matilde also completed a Licenciatura in Tourism, Territory, and Heritage at Universidade de Coimbra, graduating between 2016 and 2019.

Matilde also has additional certifications. Matilde obtained the IELTS International English Language Testing System certification from the British Council in April 2021. In April 2019, they completed a first aid course at Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa - Sede Nacional. Additionally, they completed a public speaking course at Speak and Lead in March 2018. In May 2017, they participated in the Colóquio "Investigação em Ciências da Comunicação" at Universidade de Coimbra, as well as the conference "RUMOS" and the Unesco Unitwin Conference. In March 2017, they attended the Microsoft Day at Universidade de Coimbra, and they obtained the Microsoft Office Tools certification from Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude, IP, in 2010.
