John Dixon

John Dixon has extensive experience in finance, with a career spanning over three decades in various roles. Currently serving as Finance Director for Central Functions & TechCo at Wincanton since 2003, John is responsible for finance and commercial ownership in business development, corporate financial planning, and risk management. Before this, John worked as Head of Business Development Finance at Wincanton, overseeing PLC reporting and adherence to financial policy. Prior experience includes a tenure at Marks & Spencer plc, where John held roles as a Business Analyst in the Menswear Division, focusing on profitability analysis and budget production, and as Tax Manager, managing tax payments. John began a career at Marks and Spencer, where responsibilities included performance reporting and strategic planning as Finance Manager for the Food Division, and financial analysis as a Treasury Analyst. John holds an ACMA designation from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
