Wendy Ys Zhang

Wendy YS Zhang is a medical professional with extensive experience in various healthcare roles, currently serving as a Medical Reviewer for the Public Health Agency of Canada since 2023, where collaboration with epidemiologists focuses on monitoring vaccine safety data. Wendy also practices as a Physician in private practice and family medicine with a specialization in maternal/newborn health and MSK medicine, alongside lecturing in the Department of Medicine at the University of Ottawa since 2020. Prior roles include staff physician at Winchester District Memorial Hospital and Kemptville District Hospital, research and entitlement work with Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, and a research assistant at the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control. Wendy holds an M.D. from McMaster University and a BSc from The University of British Columbia.
