Mikaela Halaja

Mikaela Halaja is an accomplished marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Winchester Thurston School since July 2022, where strategic guidance is provided to the executive leadership team and oversight is given to a dedicated marketing and communications team. With a background as a Freelance Public Relations Consultant since 2022, Mikaela has also held the position of Director of Communications and Strategic Partnerships at Chartiers Valley School District from 2018 to 2022, where communication strategies were developed for multiple stakeholders. Previous experience includes teaching roles at Montessori institutions and managing marketing and operations at Duckstein Properties, where effective marketing strategies were crafted to ensure full occupancy across properties. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Robert Morris University, Mikaela also possesses Montessori teacher certifications from the Columbus Montessori Teacher Education Program and the Center for Guided Montessori Studies.
