Neil Olsen

Neil Olsen is the current Controller at Wind Point Partners. Prior to this, they served as AVP, Assistant Controller at Monroe Capital LLC from December 2016 to October 2021. There, they managed a team of Fund Accountants and was responsible for the accuracy of financial packages and reports for 40+ funds. Neil also developed and produced training materials and conducted on-going training sessions to help the Fund Accountants build their knowledge base and improve their skillsets.

Previously, Neil worked as a Senior Fund Accountant at Opus Fund Services from August 2013 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports for clients. Neil also reviewed and re-evaluated internal controls to create a process-driven, risk-averse culture.

Neil Olsen pursued a business degree at the University of Connecticut School of Business, where they earned their MBA in finance and accounting. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in psychology at Illinois Wesleyan University.
