Nelson Ho is an experienced software engineer and technical staff member specializing in system simulation, dynamic analysis, and hardware abstraction layers. Currently with Wind River, Nelson is engaged in QEMU support for VxWorks RTOS and Helix hypervisor, having previously contributed to Amazon Web Services' Annapurna Labs team and VMware's VMkernel Resource Management, where Nelson focused on CPU scheduling for 5G workloads. Notable work includes developing a Linux driver for a FPGA-based near-memory accelerator at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and serving as a teaching assistant for operating systems at UC San Diego. Nelson holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
