Prakash Desai

Prakash Desai is a seasoned professional in product management with extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Product Management for Intelligent Cloud at Wind River since May 2022, Prakash previously held the position of Sr. Director and Head of Telecom Practice & Strategy at HARMAN International, where the focus was on connected car technology and digital transformation solutions. Prior to that, Prakash was with Nokia for nearly 14 years, overseeing various product management roles in 5G technology and small cell solutions, as well as in mobile broadband. Prakash's career began at Motorola Solutions, where technical leadership in broadband networks was a key focus area. Prakash holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and advanced degrees from Michigan State University and Savitribai Phule Pune University.
