Fabio Massimiani

Fabio Massimiani has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Fabio started their career in 2001 as a DVB-S researcher at Elis in partnership with the European Space Agency, where they worked on data transmission via satellite using TCP protocol. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a DVB-T researcher at Fondazione Ugo Bordoni, participating in a national project to introduce Digital Terrestrial Television in Italy.

In 2003, Fabio joined Altran as a UTRAN & RNC planner, where they played a key role in the development of the UMTS Radio Network for 3 Italy (H3G). This involved dimensioning and configuring UTRAN equipment, as well as network monitoring and troubleshooting. Fabio remained with Altran until 2006.

Fabio then joined H3G, where they held various managerial positions. Fabio served as an RF & DVB-H Engineer from 2006 to 2009, working on the development and optimization of the DVB-H Network. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Network Technology & Innovation Manager, providing top management support in strategic decisions and conducting business development activities. Fabio then served as a Technology Strategy & Development Manager from 2012 to 2014, where they supported top management in strategic evaluations for business development and collaborated with the Marketing & Strategy department on new service launches.

From 2014 to 2016, Fabio worked as a Network Customer Experience Manager, focusing on enhancing customer experience in the network. Fabio joined wind tre in 2017 and has since held various roles. From 2017 to 2021, they served as an Architecture Manager, responsible for overseeing architectural aspects. Fabio then took on the role of Principal Architect until March 2021, where they played a key role in designing and implementing innovative services. Currently, Fabio is the Head of B2B Innovative Services at wind tre, where they continue to drive innovation in the company.

Fabio Massimiani completed their education in a chronological order. Fabio earned their Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from SDA Bocconi between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Business Administration program called the Stretch Development Program from SDA Bocconi, which lasted from 2019 to 2020. Fabio'searliest formal education was a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Università degli studi Roma TRE, which they obtained between 1996 and 2002.

In addition to their academic degrees, Fabio also holds several certifications. Fabio obtained the certification "A World of Finance: Global Economics, Markets and Institutions" from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in June 2022. Fabio also received certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt from Galgano & Associati in April 2020, and as a Six Sigma Green Belt in September 2018 from the same institution. Moreover, they obtained the TOGAF 9 - Foundation & Certified certification from The Open Group in November 2017.
