Marcello Savarese

Marcello Savarese has a diverse work experience in various companies. Marcello currently holds the position of Chief Data Analytics Officer at Wind Tre since 2018. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor/Lecturer at Universities and Master School starting in 2009. Marcello also had significant roles at Accenture, where they served as Big Data Analytics Lead and later as Information & Data Strategy Exec Leader, responsible for managing projects in the areas of information management, data strategy, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation. Before their time at Accenture, they worked at IBM as a Lean Six Sigma & Predictive Analytics Leader and held roles in Lean Deployment and Lean Sigma in different regions. Marcello also worked as a Managing Consultant, focusing on IT and Operations Strategy at IBM. Marcello's early career involved working as an Analytics & Operational Excellence Consultant at different management consulting firms, where they provided advice and assistance to large organizations in the implementation of innovative strategies and analytics.

Marcello Savarese has pursued education in various fields throughout their academic career. Marcello attended Harvard Business School, where they focused on Disruptive Innovation Strategy and obtained an Executive Master's degree. Prior to that, Marcello completed their studies at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, specializing first in Electronic Engineering and later pursuing a PhD in Industrial Statistics. In addition to their formal education, Marcello also holds the certification of IBM LSS Master Black Belt, obtained from IBM.
