Paul Ward

Paul Ward has over 20 years of work experience in the energy industry. Paul is currently the Senior VP of Sales and Marketing at WTEC Energy, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Commercial Director - New Products & Renewable Sales at the same company from April 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining WTEC Energy, Paul worked at Renewable Sales & Power Group as the VP of Sales & Operations for the US Western Region from October 2018 to April 2021. Paul also has experience as the President of Pinnacle Energy Partners, where they provided M&A and consulting services to the energy industry and the investment banking community.

Paul has held various advisory roles, including being a Strategic Advisor at PureForge from July 2016 to August 2018 and at DriveBy from July 2017 to July 2018. Paul is also the Founder and Principal of Reconnect LLC, where they provided coaching and consultancy services to organizations in the energy industry from February 2010 to December 2014.

Additionally, Paul has experience working at Helix Wind as the Director of Channel Sales, Solar Turbines as a Program Manager in Marketing & Business Development, and Caterpillar Inc. as an O&M Business Manager. Paul has demonstrated success in sales and marketing, business development, and managing global distribution networks.

Paul Ward earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin from 1989 to 1993. Later, from 1998 to 2000, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the same institution. In 2012 and 2013, Paul attended the Founders Institute, but no specific degree or field of study information is available for that period.
