Gene Bradley has worked in the engineering field for the past decade. In 2011, they began their career at Belcan Engineering as a Manufacturing Support Engineer, and then moved to Hubbell Power Systems as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern. In the same year, they accepted a position at Caterpillar Inc. as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they designed engine systems for new D Series Skid Steer Loaders to meet Tier 4 emissions requirements. In 2016, they became a Mechanical Design Engineer at XinRay Systems LLC, where they were responsible for taking prototype designs in Solidworks CAD from outside firms, creating drawings for all parts, and sourcing them from US and International vendors. In 2018, they joined APJeT, Inc. as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they designed and built all mechanical components for roll-to-roll plasma curing machines and industrial scale arc plasma “pre-treat” systems. Currently, they are employed at WindBorne Systems as a Technical Operations Manager and Production and Quality Manager.
Gene Bradley completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2010. Gene also attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham prior to that.
