Sarah Brennan

Sarah Brennan has over six years of experience in the engineering field. Sarah started their career in 2012 as an Undergraduate Researcher for the MIT Marine Robotics Team, where they tested an underwater glider and designed a prototype of a bladder-based buoyancy engine for an AUV. In 2013, they worked as an Offshore Pipeline Engineering Intern for BP, where they evaluated visual inspection technologies and facilitated inspection of shallow water pipelines. Later that year, they also worked as a 3D Animation for Wedge Global, constructing 3D models of wave energy converters and developing animations to highlight component features. In 2015, they worked as a Pipeline Inspection Engineer for BP, evaluating pipeline inspection technologies and developing acceptance testing and inspection plans for new devices. In 2018, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher for Stanford University, where they developed educational lab kits for demonstrating concepts in dynamics and controls. Finally, they worked as an Electrical Engineer for Sofar Ocean from 2019 to 2021, and is currently working as an Electrical Engineer for WindBorne Systems.

Sarah Brennan attended Walnut Hills High School from 2005 to 2011. Sarah then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Ocean Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015. In 2017, they earned their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
