Giles Dickson is currently the Chief Executive Officer at WindEurope, the trade association for wind energy in Europe, representing the entire value chain for onshore and offshore wind. Prior to this role, Giles served as the Vice-President Global Public Affairs at Alstom, where Giles engaged Governments on energy and transport policy. With previous experience at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Giles led UK negotiations on various policy areas at the EU and managed UK counter-narcotics engagement with drug producer/transit countries. Giles also managed UK engagement with Spain on justice, home, and social affairs as the First Secretary at the British Embassy in Madrid. Giles holds a B.A. Honours degree in Japanese from Brasenose College, Oxford.
