Mattia Cecchinato is a Senior Advisor for Offshore Wind at WindEurope since February 2018, focusing on climate and energy policies, offshore wind regulation, and Maritime Spatial Planning. Previous roles include Offshore and Sustainability Analyst and Environment and Planning Analyst at WindEurope, Scientific Reviewer & Expert for Nature-Based Solutions at the European Commission, and policy assistant at the European Wind Energy Association. Mattia holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Land Management from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and has additional qualifications in Environmental Management from Sheffield Hallam University. Early career experience includes internships at ARPA Veneto and Ca' Foscari University related to environmental monitoring and research.
