Eric Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2012, they played professional baseball for the Los Angeles Dodgers until 2014 when they had to retire due to medical reasons. Prior to that, they were a varsity athlete on the Stanford University baseball team from 2009 to 2012. In 2014, they interned as an accountant and administrative intern at Russ & Allcroft. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Stanford Athletics in various roles, including assistant director of development and development associate. In 2018, they joined the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, where they served as the assistant director and later the associate director of annual giving. Their responsibilities included philanthropic advising, fundraising, and donor stewardship. In 2022, they joined Windfall as a customer success manager.

Eric Smith attended Stanford University from 2009 to 2015, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, with a focus on American Government and Comparative Political Systems. In addition to their formal education, Eric has also obtained several certifications in the field of customer success, including the Cisco Customer Success Manager Cert.
