Denise Mummert

Denise Mummert is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in corporate tax, having held significant roles in various prestigious firms. At Windham Brannon since April 2001, Denise served as Director, specializing in federal and multistate corporate tax, tax research, planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, Denise was the Director of Taxation at John H. Harland from December 1993 to April 2001, overseeing comprehensive federal and state tax strategies and compliance. Denise also contributed as Assistant Vice President of Tax Planning at First Financial Management Corporation from October 1991 to December 1993, leading tax due diligence in numerous acquisition deals. Denise began the tax career as Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche, solidifying a robust foundation in tax services. Academic credentials include an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and an AB in Music from Duke University.
