Robert Bristol CEM, ATC, AEMT serves as the Director of Health and Medical at the New York City Emergency Management Department since August 2017. In addition to this role, Robert holds a position as a Planning Specialist on the Incident Management Team for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services since March 2022. With extensive experience in emergency response, Robert has contributed as a Ski Patroller at Windham Mountain Resort since November 2007 and as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT with the East Rockaway Fire Department since January 2008. Previous roles include serving as an Athletic Trainer at Professional Physical Therapy and as a John D. Solomon Fellow within the NYC Department of Education. Robert's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Emergency Management and a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management from Adelphi University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Sacred Heart University.
