Windows Into Careers connects community college students with professionals for short, one-on-one career conversations that build clarity, confidence, and access.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in California. Through our flagship initiative, we connect students with volunteer Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across a wide range of careers for honest, practical, and personal informational interviews.

These conversations give students a chance to ask real questions, learn from professionals’ lived experiences, and explore what it takes to pursue different careers.

We proudly partner with community colleges to support student success and build meaningful access to real-world career guidance.

Our volunteer SMEs generously share their time, career journeys, and personal insights. Their guidance helps students explore both familiar and lesser-known fields with greater understanding and confidence.

We believe that access to career guidance and real-world context should be available to everyone. We’re working to make that possible—one conversation at a time.
