Jason Yosinski

Jason Yosinski has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jason is currently the Co-founder & CTO of Windscape AI, where they focus on developing a custom sensor network and machine learning to improve the efficiency of wind farms. Jason is also the Co-founder & President of ML Collective, a nonprofit organization that promotes open collaboration in machine learning research.

Previously, Jason was a Research Scientist at Uber AI Labs, where they played a crucial role in the founding of the company. Jason conducted research on deep learning and its applications. Prior to that, they worked as the VP of ML and Research Scientist at Geometric Intelligence.

Jason started their career as a PhD Candidate at Cornell University's Creative Machines Lab, where they researched machine learning, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Jason also gained research experience as a Research Intern at Google DeepMind.

Before their academic pursuits, Jason was involved in various entrepreneurial ventures. Jason co-founded Mink Labs, a software startup, and owned their own web development business called Grey Garage. Jason also founded a robotics program at Eliot Middle School and served as a teacher and mentor.

Jason's work experience also includes a role as a Research Scientist at Numerica Corporation, where they focused on applied mathematics and implemented solutions in Matlab and C++.

Jason Yosinski's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Control and Dynamical Systems, which they obtained from Caltech from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, they also pursued a study abroad program in Engineering at the University of Cambridge. From 2010 to 2016, Jason attended Cornell University, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
