Jennifer Johnston

Jennifer Johnston is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in health promotion and equity. Currently serving as Manager and Public Health Nurse - Health Equity at the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit since June 2014, Johnston provides consultation for program planning and advocates for health equity within the organization. Previously, as a Health Promotion Specialist from September 2012 to June 2014, strategic planning and community engagement were key responsibilities. Prior roles include coordinating Falls Prevention programs at the Windsor Essex Community Health Centre and providing nursing care at Windsor Regional Hospital. Johnston holds a Master's of Science in Nursing from York University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Kinesiology from Western University.
