Mark Hansberry has worked in various roles within the medical field. Mark started their career at Yale New Haven Hospital as a Body Fellow and Instructor in 2000. In 2001, they joined Valley Radiologists Professional Association where they served as the President. In this role, they successfully implemented the government "Meaningful Use" program and organized a consortium to implement a single Picture Archive and Storage System for multiple hospitals. Mark also worked as a Radiologist at Alice Peck Day Health Systems, Corp., Valley Regional Hospital, and Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center. In 2007, they became the Medical Director and Co Medical Director of the Radiology Department at New London Hospital.
Mark Hansberry completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology, Pre Med from Northeastern University. Mark then pursued their medical studies at Tufts University School of Medicine, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree between 1991 and 1995. In 2000, Mark attended the Yale University School of Medicine, where they completed a Fellowship in Body Imaging.
