David Chitwood

David Chitwood has extensive experience in network engineering, having worked at Windstream since June 2011 in various managerial roles focused on IP/MPLS network optimization and engineering. Current positions include Staff Manager of Network Optimization IP Engineering and Staff Manager - IP Engineering at Kinetic by Windstream, overseeing teams responsible for the standardization and optimization of the IP/MPLS network. Previous roles at Windstream include managing the IP backbone network and contributing to network quality and standards. Prior to Windstream, David held positions at Kentucky Data Link, Inc. and Norlight Telecommunications, emphasizing technical support and operations. David holds a B.S. in Telecommunication Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and an Associate degree in Computer Information Systems - Networking from Fox Valley Technical College.
