For more than 20 years, Susie has worked hard to find practical solutions to resolve her clients’ environmental issues. She earned her BA in Chemistry from the Mount Holyoke College and her PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts. Her dissertation work focused on the factors controlling the mobility and bioavailability of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in urban sediments. Susie has led remedial investigations, risk assessments, and regulatory support efforts for dredging operations, and has designed innovative sampling programs that have provided a sound basis for regulatory decision making in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
When Susie’s not in the office, she’s likely digging in the garden, driving her kids to soccer practice, or hiking and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
