Shin Kao

Shin Kao is an experienced professional with a diverse background in information technology, illustration, and management. Currently serving as the Manager of Information Technology at Wine Institute since May 2010, Shin Kao supports legislative and regulatory advocacy for California wineries. As an illustrator and cartoonist since 1988, Shin Kao showcases artistic talents in various projects. Previous roles include Managing Director at both Apan Wine Company and Parachute, where responsibilities included custom wine label design and career assistance resources. Shin Kao also has substantial IT experience, having held positions such as IT Manager at Pearl Law Group and Freestyle Interactive, along with multiple technical roles at EQE International from 1990 to 2000. Educationally, Shin Kao holds a double major in English and Art from the University of California, Berkeley.
