Ferran Centelles has a long and varied work experience in the wine industry. Starting in 1999, they worked as a Sommelier at ELBULLI. In 2011, they began working at elBulliFoundation as a Drinks Manager and Collaborator on the Bullipedia Project. Ferran also became a Wine Educator at Outlook Wine and a Co-Founder of Wineissocial in 2011. In 2013, they became a Collaborator for Spanish Wines at JANCISROBINSON.COM LIMITED. In 2009, they began working with Decanter World Wine Awards and Decanter Asia Wine Awards as a DWWA JUDGE, and in 2017 they became a Regional Co-Chair for Spain.
Ferran Centelles received their Tecnico en Cocina y Restaurante degree from CETT_UB Tourism & Hospitality, Education/Research between 1997 and 2000. Ferran then attended Merce Rosell i Domenech and obtained an Elaboración de vinos degree between 2002 and 2003. From 2008 to 2011, they attended the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and earned a WSET Diploma. In 2015, they completed the Advanced Sommelier course from The Court of Masters Sommelier.
