Nikolai de Malvinsky

Nikolai de Malvinsky is an experienced professional in the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) with a robust background in flight testing and engineering. Currently serving as Flight Test Engineer and R&D Fleet Manager at Wing since October 2019, Nikolai oversees flight test planning, execution, and post-flight data analysis while supporting certification processes. Previously, Nikolai worked at Matternet Inc as a Flight Test Technician, leading UAV flight test efforts and assisting in test planning and execution. Early career roles included UAS RPIC at Fruity Chutes, Technical Implementation and Compliance at Pepperjam, and independent business ownership at Skybot Services. Nikolai holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
