Natalie DeYoung

Vice President of PR & Communications at Wingard

Natalie DeYoung has a diverse and extensive work experience. Natalie started their career as a Reporting and Editorial Intern at Morris Visitor Publications in 2010. Natalie then worked as an Editorial Intern, Freelance Writer, and Editorial Assistant at Jacksonville Magazine from 2010 to 2011. During their time at Jacksonville Magazine, they also served as the Managing Editor and was responsible for conceptualizing, assigning, and editing all copy for the magazine and its sister titles.

In 2013, Natalie joined Forbes Travel Guide as an Associate Editor, where they pitched, wrote, and edited articles for the Forbes Travel Guide feed. Natalie also worked as a Freelance Writer, specializing in print and web journalism, advertising, and professional services during this time. From 2013 to 2015, Natalie was self-employed as a Freelance Writer, gaining experience across various industries.

In 2013, Natalie also started working at Wingard as a Copywriter and Strategist. Natalie combined a variety of communication roles, including copywriter, proofreader, editor, social media strategist, and public relations representative. Natalie also managed the agency's philanthropic program called The Wishing Well.

In 2015, Natalie was promoted to the role of Director of Communications and Public Relations at Wingard. Their tenure highlights include managing media relations for Ability Housing, leading the research and strategy for the launch of Brooklyn Station on Riverside, and securing international, regional, and trade coverage for the Epic Odyssey World Tour.

Most recently, Natalie has been serving as the Vice President of PR & Communications at Wingard since September 2021.

Natalie DeYoung began their education in 2006 at Stetson University, where they received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Journalism in 2010. In 2009, they had a brief study abroad experience at Hong Kong Baptist University, where they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Journalism.
