Carmelo Cartalemi

Carmelo Cartalemi has a diverse work experience in the marine industry. Carmelo started their career at FINCANTIERI S.p.A. as a Structural Engineer in July 2002 and later became a Lead Project Engineer in July 2005. Carmelo worked at FINCANTIERI until September 2008.

After that, they joined GE in September 2008 as an Application Engineering Manager, where they worked until May 2010.

Following this, they joined Wärtsilä in May 2010 as a Team Leader System Design until May 2013.

From May 2013, they have been working at WinGD - Winterthur Gas & Diesel. First, as an Engine Portfolio Manager until April 2017, then as a General Manager Business Development from May 2017, and currently as a General Manager Global Sales from January 2020.

Carmelo also completed a Master's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II from 1997 to 2002.
