Fabian Schönbächler

Fabian Schönbächler has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Fabian started their career in 1996 at Baumberger Electronic AG as an Elektromechaniker. In 2002, they joined ABB Turbo Systems Ltd and held positions such as Design Technician, Head of Design, and General Manager in the Product Development and Care Product Line Low Speed. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Head of Technical Service for High Speed and Low-Speed Turbochargers at ABB Turbo Systems Ltd. From 2020 onwards, they worked at WinGD – Winterthur Gas & Diesel, where they served as both a Program Manager for Engines and a Program Manager for Technology. Additionally, in 2020, they also worked as a Lecturer for Design and Engineering at Juventus Schulen Zürich.

From 2021 to 2022, Fabian Schönbächler attended the Project Management Institute, where they pursued a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

From 2009 to 2013, they studied at the ZHAW School of Engineering and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Between 2005 and 2007, Fabian Schönbächler attended Kalaidos Fachhochschule Schweiz, where they completed an Executive MBA FH degree in International Management.

From 2000 to 2003, they studied at ABB Technikerschule and obtained a degree as a Konstruktionstechniker TS/HF in the field of Maschinenbau.

In the early stages of their career, from 1992 to 1996, Fabian Schönbächler received an education in the field of Elektromechanik at Axpo Kraftwerk Eglisau.
