Fabio Cococcetta

Program Manager Future Fuels at WinGD

Fabio Cococcetta has extensive work experience in the field of powertrain innovation and development. Fabio started their career as a Research Associate at the Italian National Research Council, where they focused on characterizing high-pressure injected fuels using optical techniques. Fabio then joined General Motors as a Development Engineer, where they worked on diesel combustion improvement and calibration activities. Fabio also had a one-year international assignment at AVL GmbH in Austria. Later, Fabio joined CNH Industrial, where they held multiple roles, including Chief Engineer in Research & Technology and Program Manager for Powertrain Innovation. In these positions, they managed research and development projects, defined innovation strategies, and evaluated new technologies. Most recently, Fabio joined WinGD – Winterthur Gas & Diesel as a Program Manager for Future Fuels. Overall, Fabio has proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing project portfolios, and driving innovation in the powertrain industry.

Fabio Cococcetta pursued their education with a focus on business administration and mechanical engineering. From 2019 to 2021, they attended Università di Pavia, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration, specifically in Executive MBA. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at Università degli Studi dell'Aquila from 1997 to 2005. Fabio earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy.

In addition to their formal education, Fabio Cococcetta also attained several certifications. In 2013, they completed a Project Management Course at EUROPEAN SCHOOL of PROJECT MANAGEMENT SRL. Fabio acquired the Design for Six Sigma - Green Belt certification from General Motors in October 2010. Furthermore, Fabio obtained the certification for ISO 14000 in environmental topics from Università degli Studi dell'Aquila in October 2003.
