Nikunj Nirmal currently serves as the Head of Engineering for International Expansions at Amazon since December 2020, overseeing the launch of Amazon in new countries and managing business strategies, technology roadmaps, and program delivery. In addition to this role, Nikunj acts as a mentor at WINGSforGrowth and is a Forbes Council Member. Previously, Nikunj was a Technical Advisory Council Member at LF AI & Data Foundation, guiding AI projects and defining project intake for the Linux Foundation. A veteran of Tech Mahindra, Nikunj held several leadership positions including CTO and Head of Digital Transformation, contributing significantly to strategic initiatives as part of the Shadow Board. Nikunj has also held academic positions, including lecturer at The University of Texas at Dallas, and has extensive experience in project management and technology delivery. Educational qualifications include an MBA and an MS in International Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, a Graduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
