Katie Garrity is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial agreements and real estate transactions. Currently serving as Counsel, Transactions at Wingstop Restaurants Inc. since 2022 and as Associate Counsel for the National Association of REALTORS® since July 2019, Katie specializes in drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements while providing legal guidance through webinars and online content. Prior roles include Attorney on the New Restaurant and Modernization Team at McDonald's, where Katie facilitated legal processes for modernization of over 8,700 restaurants, and Associate at The Selig Law Firm, P.C., where management of commercial real estate transactions was a key responsibility. Katie's earlier experience includes a tenure at Baker & McKenzie focused on global real estate coordination and representation of commercial landlords at Fuchs & Roselli, Ltd. Katie holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University.
