Michele Campbell

Michele Campbell has extensive experience in the field of probation and community support, currently serving as an Adult Probation Officer for the County of Winnebago since April 2010. In this role, Michele provides court-related information to facilitate judicial decision-making, offers community-based case management and intervention to offenders, and maintains partnerships with social service and government agencies to promote pro-social change and reduce recidivism. Previous experience includes serving as a Resident Support Specialist at the Rockford Housing Authority, where Michele advocated for residents' access to social services, and an earlier position as an Adult Probation Officer in the Domestic Violence Unit for the County of Winnebago. Michele holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Welfare from Southern Illinois University, an Associate of Applied Science in Social Work with Honors from Rock Valley College, and a high school diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School.
