James Murray

James Murray has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. James is currently the Director of Enterprise Health, Safety & Security at Winnebago Industries since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at BHP from 2009 to 2023 in various positions such as Head of Group HSE Reporting, Analytics & Systems, Head of HSE, HSE Superintendent, HSE Supervisor, and Safety Superintendent. Before joining BHP, James worked as an Earthmoving Equipment Operator at Brierty from 2008 to 2009. James also has experience as a Police Constable at the New Zealand Police from 2007 to 2008.

James Murray completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician at Curtin University in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they attended the Melbourne Business School from 2010-2011, where they completed the Foundations for Graduates Programme in Personal Awareness and Leadership Development. From 2004-2006, James earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from the University of Otago. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Sporting Performance from Otago Polytechnic in 2001-2002.
