Rich Pope is an experienced media technician and video operator with a diverse background in digital video production and broadcasting. Currently serving as a Media Technician for The Legislative Assembly of Manitoba since October 2020, Rich ensures the quality broadcasting of assembly proceedings. Since June 2016, Rich has been a video camera operator for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, handling various camera operations for live sports events. Additionally, Rich has worked as a video camera operator for True North Sports & Entertainment since September 2015. Rich also has freelance experience as a videographer and editor, providing services for various projects and events. Previous roles include Operations Manager at Changes Supported Living Services Inc. and positions at CTV News Winnipeg, Sun Media, Global News, Shaw Communications, and CKX TV. Rich holds a Technical Operations Major in Media Production from Assiniboine College, completed in 1996.
