Katrina Armstrong, MSc, PhD, currently serves as a Medical Science Liaison at GSK and as a Biological Technician (Tech 5) at the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba. Additionally, Katrina has been a member of the Ice Crew & Operations for True North Sports + Entertainment since September 2019, maintaining ice conditions for NHL and AHL events. Previously, Katrina held a University Lecturer position at the University of Winnipeg, teaching undergraduate courses in Physiological Psychology and Human Neurobiology. As a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Manitoba, Katrina focused on the functional role of serotonergic neurons and their spinal targets in locomotion, culminating in a PhD in Neuroscience. Earlier experiences include content development for multidisciplinary projects, research assistant roles in various capacities, and a master's degree in Physiology. Katrina obtained a Bachelor of Science in Cellular Physiology from Simon Fraser University.
