Fermin Montoya Olvera

Fermin Montoya Olvera is an experienced plant maintenance manager with a strong background in the packaging industry. Currently serving at Winpak since August 2018, Fermin successfully led the start-up of a new food-grade flexible packaging plant in Mexico, overseeing the installation and commissioning of production equipment. Prior experience includes a role as preventive maintenance and projects engineer at Mars, where responsibilities involved developing a preventive maintenance system and managing maintenance budgets. Fermin's career began at Tetra Pak as a shift maintenance engineer, focusing on breakdown resolution and predictive maintenance systems. Fermin holds a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from ITQ Instituto Tecnológico de Queretaro.
