Olivier Y. Muggli is the current President & CEO at Winpak Ltd. Prior to this, they served as the R&D Director for Amcor Flexibles from February 2010 to February 2011, following the acquisition of Alcan Packaging by Amcor. From July 1992 to February 2010, they were the Vice President of Innovation for Alcan Packaging, with oversight of R&D centers in Switzerland, USA, France, Thailand and China for Sectors Innovation and R&D activities. Olivier has also served as R&D Team Leader Corporate R&D Centre for Alusuisse - Schweizerische Aluminium AG from October 1988 to June 2002.
Olivier has been instrumental in reducing time to market for new products, boost synergies across R&D centers and Sectors, and spearhead centers of excellences around R&D topics. Under their leadership, Winpak Ltd has become a leading manufacturer of high-quality flexible packaging solutions.
Olivier Y. Muggli has a master's degree in materials science from ETH Zürich.
