Nina Etyemezian

AVP, Human Rights, Education & Empowerment at Winrock International

Nina Etyemezian, Winrock’s senior director of Human Rights, Education, and Empowerment, has more than 20 years of leadership experience in international development. During her career, she has worked for a wide array of nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and government and multilateral agencies. Nina has provided strategic planning, technical support, and business growth consulting services to USAID implementing partners on a broad range of human capacity development programs. Previously, she was the director of program development and strategy with the international education division at RTI International, where she advised and supported efforts to strategically grow the division and expand its geographic footprint. Nina has lived in several countries in the Middle East and has worked across the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa, and Asia. She is a native Arabic speaker, is fluent in French and Armenian, and holds a master’s in International Education from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
