Barry Heck is the current President & CEO at WinSport. Barry has held this position since December of 2018. Prior to their current role, they served as the Vice Chairman at the Alberta Enterprise Corporation from April 2009 to December 2018. Barry also served as the Chair at the Alberta Economic Development Authority from January 2012 to October 2015.
Barry Heck has also previously worked at EL Merchant Capital and The Westaim Corporation. Barry served as the President & CEO at The Westaim Corporation from January 1996 to May 2007.
Barry Heck is a well-respected business leader with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Barry is a strong advocate for the sport sector and has helped WinSport become a leading organization in Canada.
Barry Heck graduated from the University of Alberta with an LL.B in Law.
